Apparently not all birds can free themselves from the clinging grasp of a tree.

Such was the case Thursday morning when a migratory bird was spotted snared above Laguna Lake at the top of an 80-foot tree. To complicate matters, the bird had brought along some fishing line, which tangled into branches.
