Fullerton firefighters rescue tangled bird from treetop

slideshow_bird-rescueApparently not all birds can free themselves from the clinging grasp of a tree.

Such was the case Thursday morning when a migratory bird was spotted snared above Laguna Lake at the top of an 80-foot tree. To complicate matters, the bird had brought along some fishing line, which tangled into branches.

Jon Cassidy has the full report of the bird’s rescue, courtesy of the Fullerton Fire Department.
