Eyes on you: Doe, buck explore hills of Black Star Canyon

Thanks to Susan who sent along this fall photo from canyon country:

This photo was taken the Monday morning at about 8:00 a.m. after the last rain in Black Star Canyon. The doe was standing in the middle of the road watching me approach while driving. The buck then appeared and they hopped over the barbed wire. They seemed curious and gave me plenty of time to photograph them before they scaled the hillside out of range of my Canon 530 digital.
